The Hub

The Wezesha Agri-Eco Hub is strategically designed to address the growing potential of Africa’s agricultural sector, which is forecasted to create markets worth over US$100 billion annually by 2025. By offering seed money distribution, value addition training, and enhanced market access support, the initiative aims to transform agriculture into a key economic opportunity for Kenya’s youth.

This launch aligns with the Safaricom Foundation’s 2023-2026 strategy, which focuses on agribusiness, enterprise development, and ecopreneurship as essential drivers of economic empowerment. The initiative also responds to the increasing demand for processed foods in Africa’s urban markets, providing a sustainable path to growth for both rural and urban communities.
