Reporting to the Head of Vegetables, the Sales Officer – Key Accounts, & Exports Veg will be responsible for overall sales, traction of marketing activities and stakeholder engagement in the allocated market segments


Overall sales in the allocated market segment – Achieving allocated targets in a timely manner

• Overall traction of marketing responsibilities in allocated market segments.

Product development grounding in area of responsibility, following through the development of hybrids in the area

and building portfolio for the Export vegetables space. Stakeholder engagement and management to create a competitive advantage for the business.

Monitoring, Analyzing and advising the company on the evolving competition landscape to afford strategy review to keep leading positions in all key market segments.

• Promotion and Selling of Seed Co Vegetables products to meet set targets in given segments

Monitor and evaluate allocated area market intelligence and advice accordingly.

Efficiently Handle all Seed Co related activities in the respective functional areas (sales functions/events, customer service, complaints and trainings)

Gather market intelligence and local area information and give feedback to Management.

Exploration of new market opportunities and creating wins in those markets especially numeries and new commercial growers.

Identity and train farmers, traders, NGO staff and extension officers on Seed Co products and Good Agricultural


⚫identification and recruitment of Fresh Produce Export growers & Traders and Large-scale Commercial


Promote efficient Export vegetables trade sales and ensure timely payments by Customers.

⚫ Stock monitoring and restocking of Distributors and trade/retail outlets.

Timely Collections of all Dueloverdue accounts in the allocated region.

Keep up to date information on Seed Co vegetables products and good farming knowledge to provide our clients with first class technical backstopping service.

Planning, planting, general management, monitoring and evaluation of demonstrations and crop trials sites. • Promote and maintain a dominant Seed Co corporate brand through innovative marketing initiatives, including but

not limited to channel brand visibility, roadside and on-tarm demonstrations and green crop displays, show displays.

attending local farming activities, making promotional presentations in Agricultural Shows and exhibitions

Adequately being present in all agricultural farmer related aspects and dominantly represent the company in all strategic forums in the region to ensure wins


1. Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture/Agriculture or related relevant field.

2 Good Oral and written communication skills.

3. Minimum 3-years hands on experience in a reputable similar enterprise

4. Ability to work in a fast paced high pressure environment

5. Ability to work with minimal supervision

6. High sense of discipline, trust, integrity and sense of responsibility.
